Class Description

Balance is one of the most fundamental skills necessary for dancing (or walking, for that matter). In this class, we'll talk in depth about what balance is and how to find it, both as an individual and when dancing in a partnership. We'll explore ways to weight shift and identify where your core is, give you some exercises to help improve your balance in general, and talk about what to do when you find yourself off balance. This class is highly recommended for folks who are interested in working on body awareness in their dancing!

Lindy 3 classes are intended for students who have completed (and are confident in) all elements of the Lindy 2 curriculum. The topic for these classes changes every month at the discretion of the instructors.
